Holiday arrangements for Lunar New Year 2013

Hongkong Post announced today (February 1) the postal service arrangements for the Lunar New Year (LNY) holidays on February 10 to 13. No mail delivery will be provided. The General Post Office and Airport Post Office will open on February 11 to 13. The business hours of these two post offices will be from 9am to 5pm and 8am to 5pm respectively. All other post offices will be closed.

On February 10, the first day of the LNY, one mail collection will be made for the posting boxes of the General Post Office, International Mail Centre Post Office, Kowloon Central Post Office and Tsim Sha Tsui Post Office. On February 11 and 12, one mail collection will be made for the posting boxes of the General Post Office and Airport Post Office. On February 13, one mail collection will be arranged for street posting boxes in accordance with the public holiday arrangements advertised on the boxes.
