Background

The Hong Kong Awards for Industries was officially incepted in 2005 by merging the Hong Kong Awards for Industry and the Hong Kong Awards for Services to rationalize and broaden the scope of the awards.

This new Awards Scheme is championed by the HKSAR Government and co-organized by seven trade and industrial organizations to recognize the outstanding achievements of Hong Kong enterprises in their move towards excellence. It covers seven categories and the Productivity and Quality Award aims to encourage and give recognition to organizations that have attained improved productivity and quality on a continual basis. Participants to the Productivity and Quality Award were assessed against a comprehensive set of judgment criteria, which covered leadership & strategic planning, customer & market focus, innovation & creativity, excellence management & improvement system, resource management, as well as business results.

Hongkong Post won the Productivity and Quality Award

The winning of the Award is once again a testament to Hongkong Post's high level of achievement in continuous productivity enhancement and their pursuit of excellence in total quality management.
