A fascinating new series of exhibits on “Natural Wonders” is displayed at the Postal Gallery located on Ground Floor, General Post Office from 4 July 2019 to 12 September 2019.
This exhibition showcases different stamps issued by Hongkong Post over the years on the theme of “Natural Wonders”. Some stamps on similar theme issued by China Post and Macao Post and Telecommunications Bureau are also exhibited at the venue.
As a preview of “Underwater World of Hong Kong” stamp issue to be released on 16 July 2019, stamp, mini-stamp sheet and associated philatelic products are also put on display.
“A Journey through Hong Kong's Postal History - A Glimpse of Hong Kong's Postal History through the Old GPO Building (1911-1976)” roving exhibition is now held at the “History Corner” of the Postal Gallery on the G/F of the General Post Office.
A collection of postal equipment and historical photographs are displayed here with explanatory texts to reconstruct the image of the old GPO building.
