The Postal Gallery, located at the ground floor of the General Post Office, is dedicated to the preservation, study and presentation of postal history and philately.
A variety of exhibits are displayed at the Gallery, such as commemorative stamps, special stamps, running proofs of stamps and historical postal items.
While strolling through different corners of the Gallery, visitors will discover how the postal system evolved over time, and the role it played in establishing social bonds with the rest of the world. They will be able to observe the many changes the system underwent in response to economic, socio-cultural, political, geographical and technological factors.
The Gallery is divided into two different zones - the Precious Collections and the History Corner.
Apart from precious stamps, here you can find some invaluable stamp printing information such as running sheets.
