Post offices services arrangement
All post offices will maintain their normal opening hours but will advance their closing hours to 4pm from Mondays to Fridays. The business hours on Saturdays will remain unchanged, except for the General Post Office and Tsim Sha Tsui Post Office which will advance their closing hours to 1pm on Saturdays. General Post Office will be closed on Sundays. Mobile post office services remain unchanged.
Other mail delivery arrangement
Door delivery of small-sized mail items requiring signature for receipt will be suspended. For other mail items requiring signature for receipt, postmen will not require the recipient to sign for the mail items at door. After delivery of aforesaid types of mail items, delivery result will be recorded.
For buildings/premises included in a compulsory testing notice published in the Gazette (except for those places with sewage samples tested positive), mail delivery services will be temporarily suspended for four days.
For buildings with residents tested positive in the past 14 days, maintain the mail delivery service to the letter boxes in the lobbies thrice a week while all door delivery service will be temporarily suspended. Small-sized mail items requiring signature for receipt will be delivered (with records marked) into the letter boxes in the lobbies.
For buildings of the confinees under home quarantine, mail delivery service to the letter boxes in the lobbies will be maintained but all door delivery service will be temporarily suspended, while small-sized mail items requiring signature for receipt will be delivered (with records marked) into the letter boxes in the lobbies, until the end date of quarantine period.
