Postal Services Affected

During the epidemic, our postal operations team has been working hard in serving the community. With our staff who either tested positive for COVID-19 or are close contacts of confirmed cases gradually resuming duties, the stringent manpower situation that we faced earlier is being eased. We are gradually resuming normal postal services. We will closely monitor the situation and keep striving to maintain the provision of essential postal services to members of the public, while we will continue to prioritise the health and safety of our staff and members of the public. In the event that any staff member tested positive, our postal facilities may require temporary closure for disinfection of the premises and mails concerned. We regret that there may be short term closure of post offices and delivery of local and inbound mail items may subject to a delay of about 1-2 days.
