During the epidemic, our postal operations team has been staying committed to serve the community. With our staff who either tested positive for COVID-19 or are close contacts of confirmed cases gradually resuming duties, the stringent manpower situation that we faced earlier is being eased. All 120 post offices have resumed normal business hours starting from April 11.
We will continue to prioritise the health and safety of our staff and members of the public. In the event that any staff member tested positive, temporary closure of premises for disinfection of postal facilities and mail concerned may be required. We regret that there may be short term closure of post offices and delivery of local and inbound mail may subject to delay. Thank you for your understanding and we apologise for the inconvenience caused.
