Revising the Performance Standards of iMailR Service


Making reference to the performance standards of outward ordinary airmail, the local handling time standards of iMailR service will be divided into peak periods and non-peak periods, with effect from 2 September 2013:

 Non-Peak Periods*#Peak Periods^#
First Class Service 1 working day 5 working days
Economy Class Service 2 working days 6 working days

* Non-peak periods include the whole period from January to August.
^ Peak periods include the whole period from September to December.
# No. of working days needed for delivering airmail (posted before the advertised latest time for posting) to the designated air carrier, subject to flight availability.
