Starting from 10 December 2019, Hongkong Post will send a SMS message to the addressee on the day of delivery to notify him/her of the door delivery arrangement of a Speedpost (EMS) item or parcel (inward and local)*, enabling the addressee to have a better grasp of the delivery status and make necessary arrangements to receive the item. In case of unsuccessful delivery, we will issue a mail collection notification card to the addressee on the same day (for Speedpost item) or the following working day (for parcel). The addressee can collect the mail item at the designated post office as indicated on the card, or click here to apply for mail redelivery service (service charge applied).

* This service is applicable only to mail item bearing a correct and deliverable address as well as a valid mobile phone number of the addressee which is SMS-enabled. Request for change of delivery arrangement will not be entertained.
