Refund Arrangements of Postage Difference for Conveyance of Air Mail by Surface Route caused by Flight Reduction or Cancellation by Airlines

2020.04.09

Hongkong Post has announced earlier about the suspension of all or part of the air mail services to certain destinations as a result of continued substantial reduction in flight frequencies or even cancellation of flights to these destinations by airlines. Despite that, there were air mail items accepted for posting before which are no longer possible to be conveyed by air mail due to the continued substantial flight reduction and cancellation. To avoid waiting endlessly for the resumption of normal air conveyance capacity of airlines, we have no other alternatives but to convey such items of respective mail categories bound for the affected destinations listed below through the surface routes where arrangements have been made to advance the shipping schedules or increasing their frequencies of service. We apologise to senders for the inconvenience caused.
