With effect from 1 January 2020, dealer will no longer be authorised to accept any prepayment from customers for crediting value to the meter, whereas relevant bank accounts used for accepting such payments will also be ceased from operation on 1 January 2020. Any prepayment made to a dealer on or after 1 January 2020 will not be recognised by Hongkong Post as valid prepaid postage.
