In meeting the changing needs of e-commerce, Hongkong Post provides a new mail collection solution in enhancing online shopping experience. After online registration of Mail Collection Number (MCN) in EC-ship online platform, you can choose to collect mail items at a selected self-service “iPostal Station” and/or a post office without additional charge.

During the registration, you will be guided to select a collection post office & iPostal Station and go through simple verification on your Hong Kong postal address and mobile number for future communication / notification. Upon completion, you will receive an 8-digit MCN number.

Ask the sender (both local and overseas) to write your MCN information and postal address onto the mail. When the mail item is delivered to the selected post office or iPostal Station, you will receive a SMS notification for mail collection. Go to the post office and show the SMS to Hongkong Post staff or input your MCN or verified mobile phone number and SMS collection code to iPostal Station for collection.

Note: Mail items not under the service scope of MCN or bearing incorrect or invalid Mail Collection Number, HKP will deliver to the delivery address, if there is, as appeared on the mail item. Please refer to respective service terms and conditions for details.

Upon receipt of SMS notification, the mail item will be made available for collection for 4 days. After 4 days, the mail item will be transferred to the nearby post office for counter collection.

Step 1: Receive collection notification by SMS with a collection code

Step 2: Enter the MCN or verified mobile phone number* at the selected iPostal Station, then enter the collection code

Step 3: Collect mail item from the locker

*MCN is not necessary for Taobao Marketplace Hong Kong self pick-up service. Instead of MCN, a mobile phone number is required.
