Worker / Worker (Platform)

Major Responsibilities:

  1. To load and unload / bundle up / dispatch mail items and mail bags;
  2. To assist in operating mechanised letter sorting machines or other mail processing machines;
  3. To perform messenger duties (including indoor / outdoor delivery and collection of mail items);
  4. To convey, load and unload bulky items in indoor or outdoor areas, and deliver goods by vehicles;
  5. To tidy up venues and perform cleaning duties; and
  6. To undertake other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Entry Requirements:

  1. Be able to read and write simple Chinese and English; and
  2. Pass a fitness test of lifting and carrying a mail bag (around 16 kg) from one place to another.

  1. Rest days, statutory holidays, annual leave, maternity leave, paternity leave, sickness allowance, where appropriate, will be granted on terms not less favourable than the provisions of the Employment Ordinance.
  2. For monthly-rated employees, an end-of-contract gratuity may be granted upon completion of the contract with satisfactory performance and conduct. Such gratuity, if granted, plus any contribution made by the Government to the Mandatory Provident Fund (MPF) Scheme, will be equal to 10% of the total basic salary drawn during the contract period.
